These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TechCerta ("the Service"), operated by TechCerta ("we", "us", or "our") at techcerta.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
TechCerta is a cloud-based SaaS platform that provides appliance repair service centers with tools for technician certification, training management, job assignment and tracking, performance analytics, and payslip generation.
You must register an organization account to use TechCerta. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
Each organization account may add team members (managers and technicians) up to the limit of your subscription plan. You are responsible for all actions taken by users within your organization account.
TechCerta offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. All payments are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller. By subscribing you authorize Paddle to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.
A 14-day free trial is available on all plans. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, access will be restricted unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to local taxes applied by Paddle depending on your location. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
You agree not to:
You retain full ownership of all data you input into TechCerta, including job records, technician profiles, training content, and customer information. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TechCerta — including the data you store — complies with all applicable privacy laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
All software, design, trademarks, and content that constitute the TechCerta platform are owned by us or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the platform.
We aim to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily affects access. We will endeavor to notify you of planned downtime in advance.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in any activity that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. We will provide notice where reasonably possible before taking such action.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@techcerta.com. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export it.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechCerta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
